Have you ever wanted to have your own castle?
This is your chance!
Participate in a creative Robin Hood Festival tradition!
Open to all ages 2+, with age-specific categories.
Your castle can be made out of anything you wish.
Some in the past have been made out of checkers, dog biscuits, cotton, sand, playing cards, buttons, foil, legos . . .
The sun melts things like chocolate, crayons, marshmallows, etc.
Entries should be mounted on heavy duty cardboard or light weight board for easily handling. The base cannot be more than 18x18 inches, but you can build your castle as high as you wish, remembering it must be free standing.
Bring your castles to Veteran's Park in Old Town
next to the Family stage
Saturday, July 20, 2013, 7 to 9 AM.
Castles will be judged and on display all day.
You must pick up your castle by 5 PM.
Let your imaginations soar and
construct a prize-winning castle!
