The Robin Hood Festival Association is 100% run by enthusiastic volunteers who generously dedicate time and effort to make the Festival events (Summer Festival, Holiday Festival, Madrigal Feast) everything they can be. All our volunteers receive a $30 Bonus Bucks card from our title sponsor, Langer’s Entertainment Center, as well as the joy and magical merriment that comes with the festivities.
Who can volunteer?
We welcome all adults and there are select spots for high school students. No experience necessary for most positions.
What kinds of volunteer roles are there?
During our events we have many opportunities to help with the archery tournament, parade barricades, set-up and tear-down, selling souvenirs, helping in the beer garden and green room, and kid’s crafts, just to name a few! There are all kinds of things you can do as a volunteer from helping with specific Festival activities or taking on a larger planning role.
How do I get involved?
Event planning takes place year-round and we always need new volunteers. Come to one of our planning meetings held on the third Thursday of each month. They are open to the public. Meetings start at 7:00 PM at the Sherwood Midday Masonic Lodge, 22536 SW Washington St. in Old Town Sherwood between Clancy’s and the alleyway.
