People from far and wide come to see the Festival Summer Parade every third weekend in July, a popular community tradition for over 70 years.
The Summer Parade weaves through Sherwood starting at Langer's Entertainment Center and turning west onto SW Century Boulevard before turning onto Sherwood Boulevard and into town along Pine and First Streets. The 2025 parade is planned Saturday July 19, 2025, at 10 am. Come early and stake out your spot along the route as shown on the parade route map below.

Would you like to participate in the Parade? Registration in advance for our Summer Parade is highly recommended! We DO accept entries on parade day; however, because the parade line up will have already been set, please be aware that last minute entries will be positioned at the end of the parade.
We welcome parade participants with family friendly entries from near and far. Dress up in your best medieval or modern costumes – Creativity is the hallmark of this parade!
