Additionally, the Sylvan Archers organization is excited to welcome media to the 69th Annual International Archery Tournament, a one-of-a-kind sporting event in Nottingham, England!

2018 Festival Coverage Highlighted by a Visit from Joe on the Go
A highlight of 2018 Festival coverage was a visit from Fox 12's Joe on the Go, broadcasting multiple segments live during the morning show. Watch Joe try his hand at archery.

2017 Festival Coverage
The 2017 Festival was highlighted with a live feed on OregonLive, PDX Parent Magazine, with extensive coverage in The Sherwood Gazette and Tigard/Tualatin Times.  The Maid Marian Court was featured on local television.  Outgoing President Phil McGuigan was featured in the Sherwood Gazette and Portland's Portrait Magazine.

2016 Festival Coverage Features Award Winning Grand Floral Parade Mini Float & Archery
Coverage of the 2016 Festival began with the 1st place award-winning mini float in the Portland Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade, with multiple live interviews of Maid Marian and volunteers on Fox 12.  The International Archery Tournament with Nottingham, England was featured in USA Archery magazine.  Additional coverage appeared in The Oregonian, The Sherwood Gazette, Portland Tribune, Tigard Times and other local publications.

2015 Festival on KOIN-6, the top "Living" section feature story in The Oregonian and more!
We had wonderful media coverage of the 2015 Festival, including a fun "Keeping Up with Kyle" segment created by KOIN 6's Kyle Maki, coverage on KOIN 6 of the international archery tournament, the top Living section story in a Friday Oregonian, Oregonlive.com stories on both the crowning and selection process for the Maid Marian Court, as well as coverage in The Sherwood Gazette, Portland Tribune, Tigard Times and other local publications.

2014 Festival Media Coverage

2012 Festival Featured on KPTV-12 Good Day Oregon, KUNP-TV & The Weather Channel!
Thank you KPTV Fox 12's Good Day Oregon and the newly knighted Sir Joe on the Go for visiting the Realm of Sherwood in July 2012!  KUNP-TV Portland Univision also visited our Realm.  The Sherwood Renaissance singers enjoyed serenading everyone in Spanish, and there was a special Spanish greeting from the Maid Marian Court!  The Robin Hood Festival was also featured on The Weather Channel in a special feature on unique events nationwide, including ours!  AAA Via Magazine also highlighted the 2012 Festival, as well as the Oregonian, The Tigard Times and The Sherwood Gazette.
