Holiday Festival

The Sherwood Holiday Festival is a beloved annual community celebration that will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025. This festive event brings together local residents and visitors for an afternoon of joy and merriment in downtown Sherwood.
Parade: The festivities kick off at 4:00 pm with a vibrant community parade, featuring family-friendly entries and festive floats. The parade starts near 12th Street and Sherwood Blvd and winds its way to Cannery Square Park in Old Town. Expect to see the Sherwood High School Marching Band, the Maid Marian Court, and, of course, Santa Claus! All family-friendly participants are encouraged to join the parade.

Tree Lighting Ceremony: Following the parade, head to Cannery Square Park for the Tree Lighting Ceremony. This special moment, typically occurring around 5:00 to 5:15 PM, is accompanied by live music from multiple local school choirs. The ceremony also features a visit from Santa and a special "sing along" with the Junior and Senior Maid Marian Court.

Other Activities: Explore the festive activities and offerings throughout Cannery Square:
  • Santa Tent: Children can share their holiday wishes with Santa and meet his elves. Free Santa surprise bags are available while supplies last, thanks to donations from local businesses.
  • Food and Refreshments: Enjoy free hot dogs and cookies, generously provided by Sherwood Walmart and Safeway, with assistance from the Boy Scouts and Sherwood Rotary. Complimentary hot chocolate and coffee is also available, courtesy of Sherwood Symposium. Free while supplies last.
  • Sherwood Robin Hood Festival Association Booth: Visit our booth to purchase Festival shirts and learn more about our all-volunteer, non-profit organization.
