Join the Castle Building Contest!

Unleash your creativity and build your dream castle for the Robin Hood Festival's annual Castle Building Contest. This is your chance to let your imagination run wild and create a unique castle using innovative materials.
Contest Details:
  • Materials: Previous entries have included checkers, dog biscuits, Monopoly money, cotton balls, seashells, playing cards, Legos, and more. Be creative! Avoid using heat-sensitive materials like chocolate, crayons, or marshmallows.
  • Base Size: Your castle base must be no larger than 18 inches by 18 inches, but your castle can reach as high as your creativity allows. Ensure your castle stands freely on its own—no toppling towers allowed!
  • Submission Time: Drop off your castle at Veterans’ Memorial Park on Saturday, July 19th between 7 AM and 9 AM. No pre-registration is required.

Judging and Display:
  • Judging: Castles will be judged after the parade and will be on display throughout the day.
  • Announcement: Winners will be announced by the Maid Marian Court on the Family Stage in the afternoon.
  • Pickup: Please collect your castle by 5 PM.
