Greetings from Sherwood, Oregon . . . Join us for our 60th Annual Robin Hood Festival!
The historic and picturesque town of Sherwood, Oregon welcomes you to our 60th Annual Robin Hood Festival the third weekend in July, one of the oldest and most unique festivals in Oregon, with 15,000+ attendees each year and free admission to the Festival grounds.
The 2013 Festival will take place Friday and Saturday, July 19-20 in Old Town Sherwood. On Saturday and Sunday, at Edy Ridge Elementary School, you can observe archers of many skill levels (up to national championship calibre) participate in the legendary 58th Annual International Archery Tournament between Sherwood, Oregon and Nottingham, England.
Friday 5 PM through 11 PM and Saturday 9 AM through 11 PM, the Festival features popular bands from the Portland area on the Main Stage, creative acts on the Family Stage to delight young and old, medieval re-enactments, swordplay, music and dance, and appearances by Maid Marian's Court, Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Wander through the extensive Vendor Village, consisting of over 100 booths, with a wide variety of shopping and activities to explore. Enjoy an old-fashioned Community Parade Saturday at 10 AM, children's plays performed by the Sherwood Royal Academy on the Old Town Cannery Square Stage and a traditional Knighting Ceremony. Demonstrate your creativity in the annual Castle Building Contest or participate in the Flower and Plant Show. Enjoy the Friday night teen dance, kids crafts and play areas, plus plenty of delicious food, with a beer and wine garden featuring selections from local wineries and breweries. Festival admission is FREE (charges apply for some activities).
If you are interested in being one of our 100+ vendors, visit the Vendor Page for more information. If you would like to participate in our annual community parade Saturday, July 20, visit the Parade Page for an application. The 2013 parade theme is Hats off to Robin Hood: 60th Annual Festival.

The Sherwood Winter Festival ~ A Community Celebration
The Annual Sherwood Winter Festival was a wonderful community event that took place Saturday, December. 1. The generosity of local businesses and the City of Sherwood made the Winter Festival possible. We'd like to thank Safeway, Providence Sherwood, Symposium Coffee and Innovations in Management for providing refreshments and Schulz-Clearwater and Pride Disposal for donating services. Special thanks go to St. Paul Lutheran Church for annually creating and coordinating the Live Nativity scene. We appreciated the local community's contributions to the free kids' Santa bags. We also would like to thank all of our volunteers for the many hours of time invested into the Festival. The Winter Festival takes place the first Saturday of December every year.
Festival Featured on KPTV-12 Good Day Oregon, KUNP-TV Univision and The Weather Channel!
Thank you KPTV Fox 12's Good Day Oregon and the newly knighted Sir Joe on the Go for visiting the Realm of Sherwood last July! Witness Joe's fine archery skills and knighting ceremony. The Robin Hood Festival was also featured on The Weather Channel in a special feature on unique events nationwide, including ours!
